Obituary for Chris Swaney

Swaney, John Christopher – age 49 of Loudon passed away Tuesday, January 23rd at the Park West Hospital surrounded by his family. Chris was a graduate of Loudon High School Class of 1986. He enjoyed life and spending time with his friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Dee Swaney and grandparents, Fred and Lillie Reed. Chris is survived by his daughter, Lexie Swaney; mother and step-father, Gerri and Michael Bojanzyk; sister, Stacey Ramsey; niece, Kayla Ramsey; nephew, Sgt Tyler Ramsey; life partner, Jill Shubert and daughters, Johnna and Morgan Pope; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Jerome Wilkerson, Michelle Johnson, Jeff Padgett and Bobby Elliott; faithful canine companions, Pot Roast and Gravy.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6 PM Friday, January 26th in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Contributions in memory of Chris may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Loudon County Animal Shelter, 250 Jamie Drive, Loudon, TN 37774.

The family will receive friends 5-6 PM Friday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Highway 72 N, Loudon.
