Obituary for James Calloway Caldwell, Jr.

Caldwell, James Calloway Jr. – age 92 of Evensville and formerly of Loudon, passed away Friday, March 30th at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Jim was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in Rockford, Illinois with nearly 20 years of service.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Calloway and Claudia (Smith) Caldwell, Sr.; wife of 62 years, Mary (Milsaps) Caldwell; brothers, Dan, Lawrence, Joe and Dixie Caldwell; sisters, Edna Russell and Mabel Townson; and an infant brother. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Kenneth Peterson; son, Jerry Caldwell; granddaughter Zica-Varie Caldwell and great granddaughter, Mari-Mellow; several nieces and nephews.
Services honoring and remembering Jim will be held 7 PM Tuesday, April 3rd in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Contributions in memory of Jim Caldwell may be made to the Corinth Cemetery Fund, 6500 Corinth Church Road, Loudon, TN 37774. Interment 11 AM Wednesday in the Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday prior to the service at the McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N, Loudon. www.mcgillclick.com
