Obituary for Michael Glen Flanagan

Flanagan, Michael Glen 'Frog', age 58 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2016. He passed peacefully at his home surrounded by the people who loved him the most.

Mr. Flanagan was a graduate of Lenoir City High School, class of 1977. He was a member of Hensley Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Lenoir City and was a regular attendee of Blairland Baptist Church in Loudon. He was a loyal employee of Yale Securities for more than thirty years. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandchildren and watching UT sports on the television. He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed

He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Flanagan. Survivors include his loving wife, Deborah Kay (Freels) Flanagan; step-son, Chris Dixon, Myrtle Beach; step-daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Joey Walker; mother, Bobbie Flanagan and brother, Randy Flanagan all of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Alexis and Lance Dixon and Jett Walker; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Daniel Ibach, Amy Neil and staff and to Caris Hospice, Paula and Lacy.

Funeral service 7 PM Thursday, December 29th in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Jon Henson officiating. Contributions in memory of Mr. Flanagan may be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 N. Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909. Interment 11 AM Friday in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 HWY 72 N, Loudon.

Visitation:
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, December 29th in the McGill Click Chapel.

Funeral:
Funeral service will be held 7 PM Thursday, December 29th in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Jon Henson officiating.

Interment:
Interment service 11 AM Friday, December 30th in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
