Obituary for Mildred Bright Lindsey

Lindsey, Mildred Bright - age 75 of Loudon, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Retired from Powell Military after 17 years. Mildred's joy was her family, especially her five grandchildren and the anticipation of her first great granddaughter. She was also an avid and faithful Tennessee football fan.

Preceded in death by her parents, John I. and Susan (Cansler) Bright; brother, Joe James Bright and sister, Dorothy Young.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Marshall Lindsey; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Tim Kiser, Knoxville and Tammi and Tim Brown, Loudon; grandchildren and spouses, Seth Kiser, Sarah and Wes Roach, Lindsey and Nolan Blevins, Brent Brown and Sydni Brown; sister Mary Sue McKee, Madisonville; several nieces and nephews and faithful companion Dolly.

Services honoring and remembering Mildred will be held 7 PM Thursday, March 30th in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Jon Henson officiating and eulogist Mr. Tim Kiser. Contributions in memory of Mildred may be made to the Building Fund, Blairland Baptist Church, 730 Steekee Street, Loudon, TN 37774. Interment 11 AM Friday in Loudon County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N, Loudon. www.mcgillclick.com

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, March 30th in the McGill Click Chapel.

Funeral:
The funeral service will be held at 7 PM Thursday, March 30th in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Jon Henson officiating.

Interment:
Interment service will be held 11 AM Friday, March 31st in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
