Obituary for Sharon Tilley Cartwright

Cartwright, Sharon Tilley “Cricket” age 73 of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Cricket was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She worked at the Bacon Hosiery Mill, Lakeshore Mental Health Institute and the Loudon Healthcare Center where she retired. Cricket was a friend to all. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her close friends.
Cricket is preceded in death by her parents, Charles R. and Bessie (Robinson) Tilley; brothers, Benny “Ike” Tilley, Bobby Tilley, Gerald “Honk” Tilley, Don Tilley and Charles R. “Knute” Tilley; sisters, Alma Jo Engle, Jane Galatioto, Helen Bright and three infant siblings. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diann Cartwright, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Johnny Viars all of Loudon; grandchildren, Cody Presley, Loudon; Hannah Pryor, Texas; special grandson, Jonah Miller, Philadelphia; one great grandchild; sister-in-law, Soon Sam Tilley, Alabama; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Judy Smallen and Linda McNabb.
Services honoring and remembering Cricket will be held 7 PM Friday, February 9th in the McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Gene Farmer and Rev. Joe Watson officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N, Loudon. www.mcgillclick.com
