Obituary for Vaughn Henry Parmer

Parmer, Vaughn Henry - age 71 of Loudon, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. A member of New Providence Baptist Church, Vaughn served as a Sunday school teacher and worked with the Fishing for Missions group. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Vaughn was a Volunteer In Police with the VIP's program in Loudon. He was an auto mechanic by trade. Vaughn was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather who loved the Lord with all his heart. He loved spending time in the outdoors, including hunting and fishing.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lester Christian and Katie (Smith) Parmer. Vaughn is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Diane (Clark) Parmer; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Steve Case, Illinois; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Angie Parmer of Loudon; grandchildren, Ashley and husband Brandan Sanders, Amie and Aaron Case, Nick, Zack, Joey and David Parmer; and his dog, Jen.

Funeral service 7 PM Thursday, April 13th, at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Interment 11 AM Saturday in New Providence Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New Providence Baptist Church for Fishing for Missions, 245 White Road, Loudon, TN 37774. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday prior to the service at New Providence Baptist Church. Funeral:
Funeral service will be held 7 PM Thursday, April 13th at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Interment:
Graveside service will be 11 AM Saturday, April 15th in New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
