Obituary for Betty Ann Millsaps

Betty Ann Millsaps, age 64 of Loudon, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was born to Lloyd W. and Lillie (Lawson) Millsaps in Loudon, TN. A graduate of Loudon High School Class of 1972, Betty went straight to work following school as a seamstress, she began her career with 411 Sewing Factory in Madisonville with more than 20 years of service. When the factory closed she began employment with National Seating until her health forced her to retire early. A longtime member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Betty enjoyed working with the youngsters, teaching Sunday school and assisting in Vacation Bible School. In addition to her church, she had two major passions, working in her flower garden and Shopping!

Preceding Betty are her grandparents, Arthur and Anna Millsaps, Calvin and Betty Mae Lawson. Surviving are her precious parents with whom she made her home, Lloyd and Lillie Millsaps; siblings and spouses, J.L. and Mary Millsaps, Barbara and Eddie Jenkins, all of Loudon; nieces, nephews and spouses, Josh and Courtney Millsaps, Matt Millsaps, Andrew Millsaps, Derek and Rhonda Thompson, Rachel and Jamie Hawkins, Kelly and Ed Grun, Chad and Amanda Jenkins; great nieces and nephews, Jake and Carlee Millsaps, Bailey Thompson, Gavin and Caleb Grun, Corbin and Colby Jenkins; aunts and uncles, Cobb Lawson, Boyce and Shirley Millsaps, Ruby Williams, Grace Lawson and Elizabeth Millsaps, cousins, Teresa and Steve White, Jane and Mike Pesterfield, Sissy Gray, Billy Lawson, Jimmy and Shirley Garner, Calvin and Johnnie Garner, Malinda Walker, Pat Miller, David and Sue Bonett, Tammy and Anthony Tompizzi, Karen and Chris Marsh, Donovan Brown and Angie Foust.

Services honoring and remembering Betty Millsaps will be held 7:00 PM Monday, Jan. 28th, McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Davis and Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating.

Interment 10:00 AM graveside Tuesday, Jan. 29th in Union Fork Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Matt Millsaps, Andrew Millsaps, Ed Grun, Chad Jenkins, Derek Thompson, Steve White and Eddie Jenkins.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 North, Loudon.
